Students, faculty and staff are learning and working side by side again at the University of Virginia School of Law.
The community returned to a fully in-person experience this semester, following a year of hybrid learning in which both in-person and online courses were offered due to the COVID-19 pandemic. UVA Law students and employees now have a vaccination rate of 98%. Due to the prevalence of the delta variant nationwide, the University has required face coverings indoors, with certain exceptions, since Aug. 9, so students are taking advantage of the school’s abundant outdoor spaces during warm weather.
These photos capture what daily life looks like for community members since the start of the school year on Aug. 16, when new student orientation took place.
