We make every effort to announce scholarships offered by outside agencies which may be of interest to our students.  These scholarships have their own applications, procedures, criteria, and deadlines.  Please note that advertisement of these scholarships does not imply endorsement of any organization or firm.

MAX by ACCESSLEX® SCHOLARSHIP DRAWINGS

AccessLex is offering multiple scholarship drawings in November, February, and April. You can earn multiple entries by logging into Ask EDNA! – The Education Network at AccessLex, and completing the MAX Personal Finance course for free:

CAROLE BAILEY SCHOLARSHIP

The U.S. Court of Federal Claims Bar Association will award at least one annual law student scholarship of up to $5,000, in honor of the Court’s former Chief Deputy Clerk of Administrative Services, Carole Bailey.

$1,500 to $4,500

VIRGINIA STATE BAR - MULTIPLE OPPORTUNITIES

The sections of the Virginia State Bar offer several exciting opportunities for Virginia law students to earn monetary prizes through annual and semi-annual writing competitions.

 

RVA PERSONAL INJURY LAWYERS - TRIAL LAWYERS UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP

RVA Personal Injury Lawyers is offering a scholarship for one law student who intends to work as a trial lawyer in Virginia to attend Trial Lawyers University Icon Las Vegas 2024.

 

DDRB LAWYERS LEGAL SCHOLARSHIP

The DDRB Lawyers Legal Scholarship by Dolan Dobrinsky Rosenblum Bluestein, LLP is a recurring scholarship worth $1500 designed to help one law student with their tuition costs.

 

CORES FAMILY LAW GROUP - FUTURE LAWYERS SCHOLARSHIP

Once per semester, the Andrew Cores Family Law Group will be awarding a student $2,000 to use toward educational expenses related to tuition, textbooks, and room and board.

 

ALFORD & CLARK INJURY ATTORNEYS - STUDENTS IN NEED SCHOLARSHIP

Alford & Clark Injury Attorneys is offering financial assistance to college students throughout the United States. They are incredibly honored and excited to announce the launch of their $2,000 Students in Need Scholarship.

$500 to $1,000

ABA FORUM ON CONSTRUCTION LAW WRITING COMPETITION

The competition is open to any student age 21 years or older enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school during the academic years 2023 and 2024 of the competition who is a legal resident of the United States. This is a great resume builder and even if a particular student does not receive first place, he/she may have an opportunity to be nationally published in one of the ABA Forum on Construction Law publications. Runners up will have an opportunity for publication as well! 

 

THE ANDREW FLUSCHE LAW SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP

Attorney Andrew Flusche, from Flusche & Fitzgerald is currently seeking applicants for its Andrew Flusche Law School Scholarship contest. Applicants must be enrolled at an accredited law school located in the United States and submit an application, essay, and letter of recommendation.

 

THE VIRGINIA MEDIATION NETWORK

The scholarship provides eligible students up to $1,000 in financial assistance towards tuition, books, and/or attendance at a VMN-recognized ADR conference or ADR training/workshop. It also provides a one-year VMN membership. 

 

TJ CROWSON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Any low-income high school senior or undergraduate student who is pursuing law may apply for this scholarship.

 

SALVI & MAHER LAW SCHOOL OPPORTUNITY SCHOLARSHIP

Chicagoland law firm providing current and prospective law students with the chance to win $1,000 to supplement their educational expenses.
